In a heatproof bowl, melt the dark chocolate in the microwave using 30-second intervals, stirring in between, or use a double boiler on the stovetop.

Hold each strawberry by the green stem or use a toothpick inserted into the stem end.

If desired, roll the dipped strawberries in chopped nuts, shredded coconut, or sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet.

Place the dipped strawberries on the prepared parchment-lined baking sheet, making sure they are not touching each other.

If you're using white chocolate for drizzling, melt it in the same way as the dark chocolate.
