Southwest Senior Fares apply solely to 65-year-old travelers. Kids must pay full fare, even if traveling with a senior.

Senior Fare passengers can check in and get their boarding card at Southwest.com, like regular Southwest tickets.

Southwest.com or self-service kiosks can issue boarding passes to Senior Fare passengers who are age verified (more on this below).

When exchanging your confirmation number for a boarding pass at the airport, Senior Fare passengers who are not age verified must provide a driver's license

Remember this is the same ID needed to check a bag or pass security. You must stop at airport check-in even if you're not checking a luggage to be verified.

Senior rates cannot be coupled with other rates for overseas trips. For instance, you cannot book a Wanna Get Away Fare traveler and a Senior Fare

Because your passport must be verified, you can check in online for foreign flights and get your boarding position. You won't get a boarding pass

Request a wheelchair at curbside check-in at the main lobby ticket booth. If you bring an electrical wheelchair, tell Southwest 48 hours in advance.

Unused Business Select, Anytime, and Senior Fare monies will be changed to travel funds for the booked passenger only.
